1)  To configure the Linksys SPA-2102, connect your computer’s network cable to the device’s LAN port. Then connect the cable from your DSL Modem / Router to the SPA-2102’s Internet port.

2)  Your computer must have the ‘get IP address automatically’ option (DHCP) enabled to take the IP address assigned by the SPA-2102.

3) Open the internet browser and enter the address 192.168.0.1. You should see the Linksys setup screen. If you are prompted for a password, the device is probably locked. In this case, contact your equipment supplier.

4) Then enter the administration mode, entering the link “Admin Login” located in the upper right side of the screen.

5) Once logged in as administrator, you can choose between Router or Voice settings. Choose the Voice settings:

6) Then select the top menu tab corresponding to the line you want to configure ( Line 1  for example) and activate the NAT options as shown in the table below:

 

7) Then insert the address of our server  (Proxy) , your SIP  (User / Auth ID) account number  and  password  that you received by mail, and activate the options shown in the following table:

 

 

8) You must also select the CODEC that you will use for the communication. IF your bandwidth is restricted, we recommend the g729a.

9)  Finally, save the changes by pressing the  “Save Settings”  button at the bottom of the page:

 

10)  If you have successfully completed the fields and your computer is connected to the Internet, you should turn on the “Line 1” indicator and you should hear dial tone if you lift the telephone connected to that line.

1) The Linksys VoIP adapter PAP2 or PAP2T are configured in a similar way through the web interface they have.
To enter this interface you must first find out the IP address of the adapter.
Using a telephone set connected to line 1 of the adapter, dial: **** 110 # and note the IP address you will hear.
Enter that address in the browser of your computer (connected in the same network of the adapter) and you should see the configuration page.

Enter the administration mode by clicking the “Admin Login” link as shown in the box below:

2) Once within the administration mode, select the switch to advance view option as shown below:

3) Then, select the top menu tab corresponding to the line you want to configure ( Line 1 for example) and activate the NAT options as shown in the table below:

4) Then insert the address of our server (Proxy) , the number of your SIP (User / Auth ID) account and password that you received by mail, and activate the options shown in the following table:
